McDonald’s Steak

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 bagel (plain or sesame seed), sliced in half
  • 2 slices of steak (use leftover steak or thinly sliced steak)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices of American cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter or cooking oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and lightly toast the bagel halves until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add a little butter or cooking oil if needed. Season the steak slices with salt and pepper, then cook them in the skillet until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak slices from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, crack the eggs and fry them until the whites are set but the yolks are still slightly runny. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. To assemble the sandwich, place a slice of American cheese on the bottom half of each bagel. Top each with a cooked egg, a slice of steak, and another slice of American cheese. Place the top half of the bagel over the cheese.
  5. Optional: Wrap the assembled sandwich in foil and place it in a preheated 300°F (150°C) oven for a few minutes to melt the cheese and warm the sandwich through.
  6. Unwrap the sandwich from the foil and serve immediately.
