Healthy Chocolate Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, eggs, coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
