Ingredients:
– 2 cans (15 ounces each) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– Salt and black pepper to taste
– Optional: cayenne pepper for heat
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Pat the chickpeas dry with a paper towel or clean kitchen towel to remove excess moisture.
- In a bowl, toss the chickpeas with olive oil, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until the chickpeas are crispy and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
