Cinnamon Sugar Pecans

 

Ingredients:

– 1 lb pecan halves

– 1 egg white

– 1 tablespoon water

– 1 cup white sugar

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg white and water until frothy.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Add the pecans to the egg white mixture and toss until evenly coated.
  5. Gradually add the sugar mixture to the pecans, stirring until they are evenly coated.
  6. Spread the coated pecans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool completely before serving or storing in an airtight container.
