Ingredients:
– 1 cup warm milk (110°F/45°C)
– 2 eggs, room temperature
– 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup white sugar
– 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
– 1 cup brown sugar, packed
– 2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
– 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
Directions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, eggs, melted butter, flour, salt, white sugar, and yeast. Mix until well combined.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll out dough into a 16×21 inch rectangle. Spread softened butter over dough, then sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the dough.
- Starting with the long edge, tightly roll up the dough and pinch the seam to seal. Cut into 12 equal size rolls and place in a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Cover and let rise until doubled in size, about 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake rolls in preheated oven until golden brown, about 20-25 minutes.
