Ingredients:
- 4 large lavash bread or tortillas
- 1 pound sliced turkey breast
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 large tomato, thinly sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup hummus
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sliced cucumber, avocado, feta cheese, olives
Directions:
Prepare the Ingredients:
- Wash and prepare the lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Slice them thinly.
- If you’re adding cucumber or avocado, slice them as well.
- Lay out all the ingredients within reach.
Mix the Sauce:
- In a small bowl, mix together the hummus, Greek yogurt, and lemon juice.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
Warm the Lavash Bread:
- If the lavash bread or tortillas are not soft, warm them slightly in a microwave or oven to make them pliable.
Assemble the Wraps:
- Lay out one piece of lavash bread on a clean surface.
- Spread a generous amount of the hummus sauce mixture over the lavash bread.
- Layer sliced turkey breast evenly over the sauce.
- Arrange shredded lettuce, tomato slices, red onion slices, and any other desired toppings over the turkey.
Roll the Wraps:
- Starting from one edge, tightly roll the lavash bread into a wrap.
- Repeat with the remaining ingredients until all wraps are assembled.
Serve:
- If desired, slice each wrap in half diagonally for easier handling.
- Serve immediately, or wrap them tightly in foil or plastic wrap for later.
