Easy Dutch Oven No Knead Bread

 

Ingredients:

– 3 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

– 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast

– 1 1/2 cups warm water (about 110°F/45°C)

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and instant yeast. Stir in warm water until a shaggy dough forms.
  2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rest at room temperature for 12-18 hours, or until it has doubled in size and bubbles form on the surface.
  3. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a Dutch oven with lid in the oven while it preheats.
  4. Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven from the oven and place the dough into it, being cautious not to burn yourself. Cover with the lid and bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  6. Remove bread from Dutch oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
